A little background on Marshall:

Marshall was found by a school teacher that was on her way to work. She saw Marshall lying on the grass in a high traffic area and went over to him not knowing if he was alive or not. He was so emaciated and had lost a lot of his hair. She got him up and posted him on a Houston pet support page and was offered a temp foster home until a more permanent solution could be found. The wonderful lady that was fostering him had him vaccinated and checked out by a vet, and the vet said his hair loss was not mange, but most likely because of flea allergies or malnourishment. He was very weak and had to be fed slowly so he wouldn't get sick. He was THAT emaciated. Allie's Haven was contacted and he is now with a foster family in Forth Worth that will help him find a forever home.

We don't know what Marshall's story was before we met him, but no matter what it was, he was left on the streets to starve to death. Whether it was intentionally by owners, or the many people who passed an obviously starving dog, Marshall shows nothing but love and a desire to please. Oh, and he LOVES to eat!! He is very quiet and rarely makes noise. His foster family has a resident dog plus 2 other fosters in the house and it can get really loud! Not Marshall. The other 3 can play really rough but not Marshall. He is gentle. He gets in the kennel without hesitation when asked, he sits, walks VERY well on a leash, and is a cuddler! Oh, and his hair is starting to come back in as he gains weight and gets healthy!
