My name is Sissy.  I am an adorable little Lab mix puppy that was found dumped in front of a local Corpus business doorstep along with my brother Bud.  If you remember the movie Urban Cowboy that is where our rescuer came up with our names.  We don't really know that movie but like our names nonetheless.   When we were found we were just 4 weeks old and starving to death, had a horrible case of contagious mange, full wormy bellies and we just didn't feel like we were in a good place so early in life.

It has now been a few weeks and and several trips to the vet we are mange free.  We have been fully vetted and finally healthy.  We are still a little thin but getting lots of good quality food so we will be on target soon enough.

I am the shy one but all we knew is that we had each other for safety and to look after each other.  We are now safe and in separate foster homes so we can gain confidence and learn our own personalities.  My foster mom says I am incredibly sweet and shy but gaining confidence as I learn that being an inside dog and always having food available and a soft bed to lay on is pretty awesome.  I am learning my basic manners and crate training.  My foster says I am doing great with potty training as well.

Now that I am healthy I am ready to find a great home to be someones buddy for years to come. I dream about a home where I will be loved and spoiled and in return I promise to be loyal and loving to my new family.
