Caleb is a 1.5 year old Schnauzer/poodle mix that had a really rough beginning.  Caleb is a non-shedding dog that will require trips to the groomers.  He was dumped in a small rural park in Corpus Christi, TX by his owner with just a food and water bowl.  He was lost, confused and had been horribly neglected.  He had a severe case of mange, skin infections, and full of intestinal parasites and scared to death of the world that had not been very kind to him.  It has taken a several months to get him healthy and he now ready to begin his search for his forever home.  

He is potty trained, crate trained and is learning his social skills.  Caleb gets along with specific  dogs that he chooses but prefers the larger calmer dogs.  He would do just as well as an only dog.   He walks well on leash and is learning to not bark and react to other dogs he sees on walks.  He is a smart little dude and knows his basic commands.  He would do best in a home without children and with a family that has dog experience to continue his training.  Caleb would prefer to just be a house dog and enjoy the perks of being spoiled in a home and not have to go out much in public places where he gets easily stressed.   Please consider giving this little guy a chance of a lifetime.
