Hi there, my name is Peanut and I am about 2yrs old.  I think I am a Border Collie and Lab mix.  I am potty trained, crate trained and I am great with other dogs.  I live with a really playful foster puppy sister and she loves to get me worked up but I tolerate her shenanigans.  I am quiet in the house and am just learning to play.  I am initially shy with new people especially men but once I am comfortable with them I am glued to my people.  I love to get right in your personal space so learning to keep boundaries within reason.  I was surrendered to a high kill south Texas shelter along with my best friend and she got adopted and I was left on some short list alone and scared to death.  I have been abandoned by my previous owners and separated from my friend so I need to learn to trust whoever falls for me.  I walk well on leash and take treats nicely.  I don't have any food or toy issues.  I would do best with older children as I get shy around quick movements.  My foster mom takes me to the dog park and dog friendly places to gain confidence and she says I am doing good.
