My name is Rocky! I was wandering the streets in South Texas last April and this big metal thing hit me and fractured my pelvis. I did not even see that big loud car coming. Thankfully, I was found by a local independent rescuer and her daughter. They wanted to save my life so picked me up and rushed me to the vet. It was confirmed that I had a fractured pelvic and my tail was so badly injured that it had to be amputated. But don't worry, I still have a nub that wags all of the time. A few months fast forward and my pelvis has healed and I have no problems running and playing just like any dog . Thankfully I didn't need surgery but I do have a cute little booty shake when I walk and run. My foster mom says its the cutest thing about me.

My foster mom says I am super friendly and gets along with all dogs, cats, and humans of all ages. I am always happy and LOVE to play. I don't care if my foster sisters don't wan to play with me because I have the ability to fully entertain myself. Oh and my favorite toy is a big rubber doggie tire and a large antler. Oh man is that fun to chew on. I really still like to chew but I am learning what not to chew on. My foster mom says its just because I am a puppy and will outgrow that. I have just recently learned the command "leave it" but I don't want too. lol.... Sometimes my foster mom just laughs at me because I carry toys in my mouth like a doggie pacifier. I have learned the "sit" command and am currently learning the rest of my basic manners. I do enjoy evening walks with my foster sisters and trips to the doggie park. I am potty trained and at first hated the crate but now I just go in like a good boy. I am on a pretty regular schedule and that really helps me learn.
