Hi there everyone!  My name is Tessa and I am finally learning my new name.  I had no idea if I even had a name before being saved.  The nice people at Allie's Haven Animal Rescue saved my life from a high kill South Texas shelter.  I was in really bad condition.  I was starved, mange and heart worm disease.  I am on the mend and loving life in my foster home.  My foster mom says I am a happy dog, very loving and sweet girl.  I love being with people and getting lots of belly rubs, in fact, I just lay down belly up in hopes of a good scratching.  My foster home says I have really good manners.  I am potty trained, crate and know my basic commands such as "sit",  "down" and "shakes".  I am a quick learning and food is always a motivator.  I walk well on leash and love my daily walks.  I am good with all people both small and grown ups, other dogs but unsure of cats at this time.
