Lucy is a 9 yr old Black/Brown Lab mix that was rescued from a park in Corpus Christi after someone dumped my sister Ethel and me to fend for ourselves.  I was adopted out by Allie's Haven in 2015 and was loved most all of my life as far as we can tell.  Unfortunately her adopter had to quickly rehome her dog due to major life changes and didn't follow our guidelines and surrendered her to the shelter.  Thankfully the shelter scanned her for a microchip and they immediately reached out to us.  We picked her up and she went our amazing foster home.   So..  Welcome back Lucy by no fault of her own.   

She is no longer a puppy and is a large mixed breed black dog that is now a senior and less desirable but we believe there is a family that is looking for a dog just like her.  

Her foster mom says she is probably the best behaved, sweetest foster she has ever had.  She is calm, good with other dogs, horses and cats.  She loves everyone she meets and is potty and crate trained.  Lucy knows her basic commands and would prefer to snuggle up and watch a good doggie movie.   

We say once an Allies dog; always an Allies dog.
