My name is Trooper and I am a 2.5 year old Heeler/Corgi mix. I am a fun-loving guy who loves to run and play as much as I love to snuggle up with my human friends. My history is a bit rough but safe now. I once had an owner that loved me and we were involved in a high speed collision auto accident and sadly my owner did not survive. I was rushed to the local animal ER and treated for some minor injuries and shock from the accident. My foster mom says I get along well with other dogs but NO cats for me. I am not so good around cattle even though I am a heeler but I don't seem to mind chickens and ducks. I know kinda weird. I am potty trained and crate trained; plus, I know tricks like "sit", "shake" and "down". My foster mom says I am pretty smart and will work for treats. I have been known to "talk" and "groan" but most of all I love to snuggle with my teddy bear. I have been around all kinds of people and love most everyone I meet. I would be the perfect buddy for a family with school aged children or older; or even with no kids is ok too as long as I am loved. I promise to be your loyal friend for life.
