Hi my name is Meleana, I am an 8 year old purebred yellow lab who was a breeder dog that was "used up" and landed in a high kill shelter.  I am wayyyyy past that crazy puppy phase of my life so if you want an easy going loyal companion that will just chill out on a Sunday afternoon sitting out on the porch, I am your gal.   I didn't know what love was until I was rescued and WOW.  I had no idea how good life really is and I sincerely love being a "rescue dog". When I was brought into my foster home I found my bed first, it was so comfy I just knew I was in heaven. I also got to meet two other dogs that were foster sisters, they play a lot together and I like to just watch them and hang out with the humans. I am potty trained and crate trained, but I don't have to go in my crate because I behave so well when no one is home. I'm good on a leash, love car rides, and love meeting new people. I haven't been seen around cats but I'm so calm I can't imagine I'd have a problem. I love being by my people at all times.
I'm looking for my forever home where I can be the most loyal dog for my forever family.
