Palmer here!  I am a beautiful 7 year old purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever that was rescued from a South Texas very high kill shelter.  My past is cloudy but I am pretty sure it something I don't want to remember as  I was never treated well and possibly abused and neglected.   I am a super loving boy but shy and very quiet.  I am not super active as I am still gaining trust and confidence that people won't hurt me.  I don't have a mean bone in my body just need some time to adjust to the good life.   My foster mom says I am coming out of my shell a little each day.  She says I do well on their horse farm with the 8 other dogs, horses  etc etc.  I am learning to make myself at home and getting much more comfortable. I walk well on leash, potty trained and crate trained.  I don't have any bad manners just need that confidence thing to happen.  

I would love a home that people will promise to be kind to me, love me and spoil me rotten.  In return I promise to give you years of love, loyalty and laughter.
