My name is Nyssa which means new beginning which is exactly what I got.  I was born and lived in a neglectful environment and finally my owners did my mom and all of my siblings a huge favor by dropping us off at the shelter.  You see I now get to live the life I was meant to live.  Yes it was scary and I wasn't sure what was going to happen but feeling like a lucky girl now.  I am horribly emaciated and wormy but that is all being fixed by medications and good quality yummy food.  So, a little bit about my personality.  I love to be around people and I mean as close to them as I can get.  I am dog friendly and pretty sure I can handle the cat.  I am a smart girl and already learning my basic manners.  I do need to learn that food will always be there for me and I don't have to eat in 2 seconds.  Its a work in progress coming from a girl that was starved.  Anyways, I will be looking for my forever home very soon.
