My name is Remington and they call me Remi for short. I am a really special boy that sadly that was neglected pretty much my entire life. I am so grateful to the shelter and animal control officers that made my owner surrender me so I could get a chance to live the life I deserve. Well that's just what happened. I was taken to the shelter in horrible condition and they immediately started working on a rescue to save my life. We fast forward and here I am in Allie's Haven Animal Rescue.

I have overcome a lot in my 7 years. when I was found I had a .7lb infected tumor hanging from my abdomen and it was removed but it was a risky surgery because I was so anemic, malnourished but I pulled thru with flying colors. As it turns out my tumor was benign mammary tumor so YEAH for me. No Cancer! Now I am fully vetting but still growing my fur back but it takes time.

So now that I feel better my personality is coming out. My foster mom says that I know my basic commands, I am amazingly sweet considering what I have endured. I am crate trained and working on my potty training because at my age living outside I just go whenever and wherever I had to. Now there are rules and I am not supposed to go in the house but my foster mom watches and teaches me so I am more adoptable. I love treats and learning to not take fingers with the treat and doing well there. I am dog friendly and love all people even little humans. I have not seen a cat around here but betting I am fine with them. For an older guy I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play ball and with any squeaky toy. I also really enjoy Kongs and Antlers. I can play ball for hours. Oh and they have this pool that is really fun but I have to learn where the steps are or I get scared. I am living the life that I never imagined could be possible. I am now taking applications and would love to find a family to love my and I will promise all of my loyalty for the rest of my life.
