Loretta was dropped off at a local rescuers home near Rock Port, TX the day before Hurricane Harvy hit as her "owner" was going to Mexico.   Loretta is 3 years old Labrador Retriever mix that is incredibly sweet for a dog that lived her entire life tethered to the end of a chain.  Her rescuer quickly noticed that when a leash is picked up or a broom is in hand she cowers down but they are working on her confidence as that will never happen to her again. She rides really well in the car, crates well, loves to play with toys and she LOVES to be around all other dogs and cats.  She is completely potty trained and has no bad habits at all well...  If left alone with paper close by she may become your paper shredder machine.  She knows her basic commands "sit", "shake" and will give you her other paw.  Loretta LOVES to swim and play with smaller human children.  We would love to find her an active family with children and she is hoping for a pool.  Loretta is fully vetted and ready to find her furever home.
