My name is Romeo and I am a young Australian Shepherd and Border Collie Mix that was found on the road and went to Fort Worth Shelter.  I developed pneumonia while in the shelter and was accepted by Allie's Haven and rushed off to the Emergency Room where I received all of the care I needed. I also had a limp on my rear leg and unfortunately when the surgeon went in to do surgery, my leg was beyond repair and I now am recovering from my back leg being amputated.  I sure am making the best of the situation and learning how to walk with three legs isn’t too bad.  I am fairly calm even though I am still a puppy.  I am crate and potty trained and very gentle.  I am a snuggler that loves to be around my people and love to play with other dogs as well. 

Romeo had a rough start to life but is so loyal and forgiving.  He isn't perfect but has a heart as big as Texas.  He is ready to find his special loving home, could you be it?
