Labrador Retriever (medium coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Large
My name is Siri and I am a beautiful purebred Labrador Retriever that was once owned by a family that had a special needs child and I really loved him. He taught me my basic commands. But due to life changes they could no longer keep me. I bounced around to a few homes before ending up in an extremely high kill border town Texas shelter. I was pretty far away from where I was raised but now I sleep well at night knowing that my meals are on a regular schedule, I have a soft warm bed to sleep in and several doggie friends here. I am obsessed with the tennis balls or pretty much anything you want to throw. I will fetch anything really. I love my tennis balls so much that I shred them into a thousand pieces but its all on accident. My foster mom bought me a big Nylabone and its soooo good. I really love the bacon flavor. I am ready to find a family to love me and will actually let me stay in one home for the rest of my life. I am not a fan of changing families and really just want one. My foster mom says there is not one mean bone in my body. I am happy and the sweetest girl she has met in a really long time. Note: Do not let me off leash to run freely as I get carried away and may not come back which is maybe what happened to me before.
