Hi!  My name is Carson and I am about 3yrs old and a handsome Labrador/Golden Retriever mix that is on the smaller side for my breed.  I was rescued from a breeder/hoarder March 2019.  I was born and raised in a chainlink large concrete and dirt pen with lots and lots of dogs and puppies that were being sold off while us adults lived with no human interaction.  This has caused me to be shy boy.  Its been 2 years since I was rescued and I have really come out of my shell.  I am a work in progress and will require a calm and quiet home with a family that is experienced with shy dogs.  I do need another dog in the home to help me feel more comfortable and help me gain confidence.  I am potty trained, crate trained and walk really well on leash and my foster mom is now taking me out in public to help me get used to people and sounds.  I have learned to play and love those toys that dispense treats.  My foster mom is proud of my progress.  Once I bond with my people, I will climb in your lap, snuggle up in the bed with you and hang out in your office while you work.  I really enjoy doing Zoomies around the yard especially if I have a buddy to run and play with.  When I want your attention I do this adorable little wiggle butt dance and melt your heart with smiles of happiness.   I am more relaxed but still on the shy side when new people come over.  I am extremely sweet and very dog friendly but scare easy with any loud noises and quick movements.  I am under the care of a behaviorist veterinarian and have medications to help me learn how to cope.   I am a completed different dog then the one that arrived to the rescue.  If you are looking for a very sweet but shy boy to be your best buddy then consider meeting my.  

My foster mom will offer any help and guidance with adjusting Carson to a new home.  He is truly a total love bug and is ready to find his forever home.
