My name is Hattie and I am a spry 9yrs young but don't let that fool you.  I enjoy chasing the ball, playing with the other dogs.  I am wayyyy past that puppy business.  I am potty trained, crate trained and love treats.  I am NOT a fan of cats but they sure look like fun to chase.  I live with cats and kittens but I am closely monitored so I dont catch one.  

I was a stray in Fort Worth and found by a nice lady that held on to me over the weekend.  My picture was posted all over and the shelters and veterinarian clinics were all notified but my owners never came looking for me.  The vet that helped me told us that I have heartworms so I started on treatment right away.  I am almost completely over that and will be ready to find a new home where I wont get lost and they will love me.  My foster mom says I can live with other dogs but older is better.  I am also just fine with being the only dog in the house.  

If you are looking for a fun and playful older gal that has good inside manners please look at me.  I did hear that us older folks get looked over with all of the cute puppies out there but we are wiser and easier to live with. :)
