My name is Sookie just like the pretty lady on True Blood and that describes me.  I am pretty and I am as true as you can ask for.  I had a rough start in life along with my brothers and sister trying to survive on the streets but we were not doing well out there.  Then, we ended up in a over-crowded shelter on their "list" which is where they take dogs to a room and they never come back.  I was scared but thankfully I am enjoying my new life in a loving foster home.  My foster family says I am very sweet and happy go lucky.  I enjoy playing with the other dogs here and chasing the ball.  I am already learning my house manners and have not had an accident inside yet.  I am learning to go in my crate and so far sleeping well all night.  There is nothing like that first night sleep on a soft bed inside a home.  I am finally healthy and ready to find a family to love me and take the best of care of me.
