I am currently undergoing heartworm treatment so I will be ready to find my furever home after February 5th but I am currently taking applications.

Just call me Handsome.  My name is Irving and I am a 1 1/2 year old beautiful purebred Black Labrador Retriever.  I have a beautiful, shiny black coat that is so soft you will keep petting me for a long time and I will let you.  My foster mom has only great things to say about me.  Let's start with how affectionate and sweet I am and like to be wherever my foster parents are.   I love my toys and will chew on them but not your furniture or your shoes.  I sleep in my own bed by my foster parents’. I don’t mind the crate while you are away.  I am very good with other dogs and just walk away if they really think they have the audacity to bark at me.  I love the water.  I have a lot of puppy play still in me and I have already learned to sit on command.  I am very good on the leash;  I will match your walking pace.  I walk with my head held high and my tail curls up into a beautiful question mark.
