Gordy here!!! I consider myself one lucky boy. You see I was found in South Texas laying in a ditch unable to stand after I was run over by a car. Thankfully a local animal lover found me and picked me up with a sheet and carried me to her car. In spite of the immense pain I was in, I was so sweet to her. I remained calm and was so glad that help arrived. She held on to me and took me to the vet. I had a fractured hip/femur and was sent home on pain medications. So here is the lucky part of my story. This nice lady put me on a fancy airplane and I could only look out of the window and think to myself "wow! my life just changed and see ya South Texas" On arrival to Fort Worth, I was taken directly to the vet that took excellent care of me. As it turns out I had a pretty bad break in my leg and it was healing on its own but worse then that I had 2 tick borne diseases and heartworms. This took a long time to finally get me healthy. Fast forward a few months and now I am fully recovered, healthy and ready to rock and roll on with a pawsome family. My foster mom says I am the absolute easiest foster she has had. I am potty trained, crate trained and I am good with the other dogs here and those little cats that roam around me purrringggg. I am extremely calm but I do get excited to go outside and play some. Now that I am healthy, I have learned to run and play. I have never had toys so still not sure what I am supposed to do with them. My foster momma says I am on the lazy side but will get pep in my step. :) More about GordyGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Somewhat vocal, Does Good in the Car, Leashtrained, Cratetrained, Obedient, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Intelligent
