My name is Wilbur and I am an 4 month old Lab mix puppy.   I was born on a rural large Texas ranch and was the runt of the litter.  My mom is an older gal that was pretty sick and skinny so its a miracle I survived my first weeks exposed to the elements on a ranch.  After we were rescued I was really behind my siblings and was so anemic and close to not surviving.  I am now healthy and thriving thanks to that awesome veterinarian that gave me a blood transfusion and took such great care of me.  My foster mom says that I am just like butter when I am held.  I love to give kisses and will snuggle for hours.

My foster mom says how smart I am daily.  I am potty trained, crate trained, learning to walk on leash and I love to play with the other dogs but I still melt in your arms.  I am a happy and social guy that can't wait to find that perfect family join with.
