Granger here and I am one big handsome purebred Silver Lab that was once belonged to a family that used me as a stud dog and sold off all of my puppies.   My owner passed away but the wife no longer wanted me after my last litter and put me out on the road to fend for myself.  She said she did not want me and hoped someone else would.  Sadly, I was super confused and wasn't sure what to do or where to wander off to until a local rescuer found out the truth and picked me up.  I am now safe with a foster home.  I have been to the vet a few times and that place really is scary but I seem to somehow survive each visit.  I did test positive for  heartworms but I am now treated and deemed healthy by the vet.   My foster mom says I am such a big ham and that I am potty trained and crate trained.  I do still pull on leash but that will take some time since I was never taught how to properly walk on a leash.   I am fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.  I was not very well socialized but my foster is teaching me all of the things I should have learned as a youngster.  I really enjoy playing with all of the dogs here and she has a few. lolol.  My foster mom has a pool and I finally figured out what that is all about.  I am still nervous about getting all of the way in but love the steps and swim platform.    If you prefer Silver then I may be the guy for you.  Apply today at www.allieshaven.org
