Lily is an adorable pocket size 2 year old Lab mix that weighs about 35lbs.  Lily has a unique partially blue eye on one side but it's not an injury just a neat little trait about her.  She was rescued off the streets as her owner moved away and turned her loose to fend for herself.  As you can imagine life on the streets in South Texas is NOT a safe place for any dog much less one that has lived with a family at one time.  She was picked up by a local rescuer and worked for over a month to find a rescue to take her in.   Lily remains as sweet as she can be in spite of being thrown out on the streets.   Her foster mom says she has a pretty calm and easy going personality.  She is good with children, loves to play with the 4 other dogs in the foster home.  She takes treats nicely,  and knows some basic commands.  Her foster mom said she crates easily and is potty trained.  She walks pretty well on leash and has no behavior issues that we have seen since she has been with her foster.  

Lily is now fully vetted, microchipped and just finishing up her heartworm treatment.  She is currently being fostered in Austin, TX and is ready to start her search for her forever home.
