Shadow was well-loved and cherished by his original owner, but after his owner passed away their adult child took him in. Shadow was left in the backyard, ignored, and became a 7-time repeat stray offender at the local shelter. After his 7th time being captured by FWACC, the adult child surrendered him to the shelter.

Cats, dogs, humans; Shadow doesn't care as he loves them all. He's a cuddly boy, who will do anything for a treat. Shadow takes his name a little too seriously, and has become a shadow to his foster family. If they're on the couch, he wants to be next to them or at their feet. He loves sleeping in his bed next to his foster mom every night. When first meeting, Shadow can be a little shy, but he warms up pretty quickly.

At 10 years old, Shadow is in great shape. He has some cloudiness in his eyes, a little hard of hearing but that doesn’t slow him down. We think this just adds to his sweet personality. He rarely barks and is the sweetest boy in the world. We believe Shadow is a Spaniel mix and he weighs approximately 50 lbs.

His foster mom loves him dearly but he's ready for his forever family!
