Rig hasn't found his perfect family yet, and that's okay! Our biggest ask for Rig is that he gets a 6ft or higher fence. This boy can take his 100lb+ self and jump a 5ft fence with no issues if it's the only thing between you and him. We think he’s a Lab and possibly Great Pyr or Anatolian Shepherd Mix, and we estimate his age at 3 to 4 years old. He does well with big dogs, small dogs, children, men, and women. Rig isn’t super snuggly. He likes to lay with you in the morning and evening, but he’s got things to watch during the day. Rig also isn’t really into playing a lot with other dogs, although he is learning. Rig would make an amazing guardian dog, possible companion animal, or if you're up for it, train him to become a therapy dog! That Canine Good Citizen certification would go to good use on this boy. He has a gentleness to him that would make him a natural at helping or looking after people, dogs, and various creatures alike. He currently looks after the ducks in his fosters yard. Rig will need people who are home more than they aren’t as he has a little separation anxiety. He’s not destructive or anything, but if given the opportunity he will jump that fence and try to come find you. This is why we are requiring a 6+ foot fence for this agile guy.
