Sully is an 8yr old Black Lab that was owner surrendered due to a change in his owner’s life. He came to us morbidly obese (140lbs) and unable to walk. He was extremely filthy, and had pressure wounds under his chest and tail. He is on a weight loss journey and now goes on short walks every day. Sadly, we have no idea what kind of life he had but poor Sully is extremely shy and has no motivation to interact. He will only eat when he is alone in his kennel at night. We are working hard to gain his confidence and to let him know he no longer has to flinch when approached. This big ol' guy will need a calm, quiet home that has experience with shy dogs. He is great with all other dogs and his foster mom even caught him up and interacting with them.

They say time heals ones heart and we sure hope we can heal Sully's heart. <3
