Meet Monty!

This big handsome 8 year old chocolate Labrador Retriever found himself stuck in a small rural shelter and was given 3 days to get out alive. Monty has fully recovered from heartworm disease and is completely healthy. He is being fostered on a horse ranch and he does great with all of the animals there.

Monty walks well on leash and is great with other dogs and horses. He really attaches himself to his person, and you can find him right near his foster mom at all times. He would prefer a home with other dogs, someone that isn't gone all day, every day. He was never crated but will if he has too. Monty does great when left alone, rides well in the car and is now ready to find his forever home.

If you are looking for an easy going big happy dog to hang out with, he may be your guy.
