Carmen is a beautiful 1.5yr old Golden Retriever, whose prior owner left her outside and shaved her. Over the last few weeks in her foster home, Carmen has been learning how to be a loved, indoor pup. She is almost fully potty trained, crates like a pro and walks well on a leash. She is learning not to counter surf and to chew on dog-appropriate toys.

Carmen's foster mom thinks she is still very much a puppy at heart. She is always ready to splash around in the pool deck but isn't confident enough to swim unless you are right there with her. She is very submissive and needs to know other dogs are friendly before she is comfortable with them. Her foster home has several other dogs and she does extremely well with them.
