Toby is a handsome 6 year old Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever mix that was sadly surrendered due to divorce.  His prior owner could not find a home for Toby and was going to have him euthanized.  He came to us with a torn ACL and after several vet visits he had surgery to repair and there was a small complication and he had to have a 2nd surgery for a revision.  A month later this poor dude was still hurting and was slow to start using his leg so with further exams and xrays he had a screw that was not in place and needed a 3rd surgery to remove the screw.  He has been on crate rest and medications to keep this happy boy on the calm side.  

Toby is a smart boy that knows all basic commands and tricks.  He is crate trained and rushes in his crate to get his meals.  He is super dog friendly and is great with cats.  He even has cat friends.  This boy loves to chew as is a typical Lab/Goldens do.  Just give him a big Nyla bone and he is content for hours.  He will need a quiet home where he can continue to recover from his surgery.  He is cleared to go on 30 minute leash walks and can play some.  He cannot jump on furniture but doesn't try.  Toby can be adopted to a home that can continue his recovery.
