Here is Sweet Sophia!

She’s a small dog with a big heart. Sophia is approximately one year old and weighs 10 lbs. A local independent animal rescuer in South Texas was driving rescued cats across the border to get vetted and found a little dog covered in more blood and ticks than fur. The rescuer contacted Allie’s Haven, and Sophia immediately became an Allie’s pup. After several months of treatment for tick-borne diseases, mange, and skin infections, the wounds on her body have healed, her hair has almost grown back, and she has been able to complete her vetting and get spayed.

Sophia is good with other dogs. Her best friend is her lab mix foster brother, Frazer. They play, cuddle, and nap together on the couch. She also knows how to sit, has excellent recall, and is currently working on leash training.
