Meet Montana – Your New Best Friend!
Montana (PKA Ivy) is the total package – sweet, loyal, and ready to love her forever family with her whole heart.

This beautiful girl is house-trained, has impeccable leash manners, and is a dream to have in the car. She’s full of playful, puppy-like joy – she adores fetch, holds her toys in the air while lying on her back (it’s adorable!), and always wants to be part of the action. She’ll follow you from room to room, content to be near you, and often rests her head sweetly on your foot.

Montana is best as an only dog. While she’s calm and non-confrontational around other dogs in public, she does resource guard toys and treats, so she needs a home where she can soak up all the attention for herself. She’s not a fan of sharing her special things – and really, who can blame her after everything she’s been through?

Around children, Montana is best described as disinterested. She’s perfectly appropriate and gentle, but doesn’t show any extra enthusiasm when kids are around – she’s more into her person and her peaceful little world.

As a Pyrenees, she may bark occasionally – it’s in her DNA – but she’s doing great with the “quiet” command and has days where she barely barks at all.

This girl has been through a lot. Her previous home used a shock collar that caused painful injuries, and she was left outside and ignored. Despite that, Montana has blossomed into a loving, happy dog in foster care. She hasn't chewed a single thing in her current home – all she wants is love, attention, and someone who understands her breed and her past.

Her Perfect Home:
✔️ A family that’s home often or can take her along for adventures
✔️ A yard to roam and explore
✔️ Ideally, another dog – Pyrenees thrive with companionship
Montana is soft, loving, loyal, and incredibly special. She deserves a home that sees her worth and wants to give her the joy and peace she’s always deserved. We’re committed to finding her the perfect match – one where she’ll be cherished for the gem she is.
