Presenting Polly! 

A horse farm purchased Polly to guard livestock, but it wasn't a good fit for her.  They confined her to an outdoor pen with no shelter.  Deciding she was more trouble than she was worth, they surrendered her to Allie's- a place that recognized her value.    

According to her foster mom, Polly is a "one-year-old BEST DOG EVER/ Heinz 57/Pyrenees/ Akbash/ Lab mix." She loves her four-legged canine foster siblings and has no interest in the feline ones. She is a hoarder of stuffed toys but doesn't understand the obsession with tennis balls.  

Polly is a great car rider and has basic training skills. She walks well on a leash, tolerates the crate (but doesn't like it), knows how to sit, and takes treats gently from your hand--even hotdogs. (The most delicious treats in the world!)  

This girl loves having choices.  Polly would like a home with a doggie door or a person who is home most of the day to let her in and out.  Outside time is important to her.  She loves chewing on sticks, sunbathing, and chasing squirrels.  True to her breed, she's on the move all day.
