Welcome Maddie to Allie's Haven Animal Rescue!  Little Maddie is just 12lbs of sweetness.  She is a purebred Yorkshire Terrier that is approximately 2 years old.  She was found behind some apartments near a creek in a wooded area.  The finder tried for several weeks to find her owners and couldn't believe she was out there alone in the woods.  We think she may have been dumped there.  She is now fully vetted and ready to start her search for her forever loving home.  Little Maddie is a non-shedding dog that is a total cuddle bug.  She loves to be held and snuggled.  Sadly we think she must have lived in a crate more then she was out as when we first saved her she would only walk in circles but her foster momma has worked hard to not crate her and work on her confidence and leash walking.  She almost never does this now and has learned there is a whole world out there to explore.  Maddie is potty and crate trained but we rarely crate her.  She is great with all people and dogs but does best with dogs more her size or calmer personality as large dogs with lots of energy scare her.  She is great with cats too.  She is ready to find her perfect home.  Apply to adopt Maddie at www.allieshaven.org.
