****Courtesy Post****  Meet Louie. This handsome Basset Hound/German Shepard mix found himself at Dallas Animal Shelter on the euthanasia list. A sweet family adopted him in order to save his life but their other dog isn’t adjusting to the change in his home. After working w a trainer (for the other dog)  the difficult decision was made to find a better fit for Louie.  
A little about Louie….he’s a very good boy, good on leash, housebroken, crate trained, is eager to please, and has definitely had formal training in the past. He’s good around kids, other dogs, and disinterested in cats. He loves to be around people and really just wants to be part of a family. His favorite activities are going for walks and relaxing on his bed. He has a sweet personality with bursts of goofy energy. Louie’s up to date on vaccines and has no current health issues. At 8 years old this sweetheart would love to have an owner who is able to spend a lot of time with him even if it’s just sitting nearby.
