I was rescued on inauguration day so the girls gave me the most prestigious presidential name. I am George. We all think I am about 7 to 8 years young. Pretty sure my life before now was not a good one. You see, I was found in horrible condition. I was found starving and the people at the shelter say I was just skin and bones. I have heart worms, intestinal parasites and skin issues from living outside with no or bad food. The best news is that I was saved and now resting in my foster home. Wow! I really life this new life and its like a dream come true. I already went to the vet and started all of my treatments, my foster mom gave me a good scrubbing, a brand new collar and some quality food. Stay tuned as I will be the new and improved George soon enough. I still have to undergo that painful heart worm treatment but I am a tough boy and know I will do great. My foster mommy says I am so well mannered she can't believe nobody wanted me because of how sweet and smart I am. I am potty trained and crate but I don't really need the crate. Dogs our age should have earned their right to just sleep on the bed when your gone. I walk well on leash and take treats like a pure gentlemen despite my starving history. I have a really pretty foster sister and she is also a yellow Lab and I am pretty sure she likes me.
