Archie, here!  I am a 2 year old Golden Retriever/Labrador mix that was rescued from a small rural Texas shelter.   I had a rough life on the streets and was hit by a car so my back leg was fractured and I had heartworms and a tick borne disease.  Well fast forward a few months and guess what?  This Humpty Dumpty was put back together.   Yup.  I had surgery to repair my hip,  fully vaccinated, neutered, treated for the tick borne disease and am completed my heartworm treatment.  

Now I am learning my house manners and how to appropriately play with all of the happy dogs around here.  I am crate and finally potty trained.   I am good on leash, good with all people and would be find with a dog that we would get along with (same energy),  or as an only dog.  I am not sure about cats because my foster mom doesn't have any around here.
